Effective Thursday, March 26, 2020 the library will be closed. Hedberg Library and all of LIS have transitioned completely to virtual services. You will need to always access databases through this library webpage to utilize our subscription. Use the catalog search box above (or the Advance Search link) or the "All Electronic Resources" link to the right. Please see this page for detailed instructions.
Circulation services are suspended for the time being, except for when requested through correspondence with a reference librarian. If you think you need something from the library, please visit our list of librarians and send a message to one of us. Due dates for all library items are still set to October 1, 2020. Please remember that the library still expects books, computing equipment, etc. to be returned to us. You may see what is checked out to you with My Library Account.
Interlibrary Loan services are also suspended because libraries across the country are closed. At this time we prefer that you work with one of our librarians directly to make sure you are fully utilizing Carthage's resources to find what you need. The fastest available service is through an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are glad to work with you to get you the best resources possible.
