As of Fall 2018, Carthage has moved to Schoology which has a stronger integration with Turnitin, and will be no longer maintaining this page.
Turnitin is software that detects originality in submitted work. It compares matches against items on the Internet, its own paper repository, as well as many academic databases.
Before students can submit papers, the faculty member needs to setup the account. Watch the following 3 minute video to understand the process. It will about five minutes of time to create an account, as well as a class and the first assignment.
